Erde 142 Trailer Wheel Bearing (inner) 30205

The Erde WHEELBE30205 is an inner wheel bearing with a sealing ring.

This bearing is of the tapered roller type.

It is used on Erde142, 143, 153, 163, 193, 213, 233, 234x4, 234x4F and CH751 trailers.

It is advisable when replacing a wheel bearing to replace both inner and outer bearings at the same time.

Before any new bearings are fitted ensure that the hub internal surfaces and the spindle are clean and free from dust and burrs.

It is usual to fit the bearings into the hub first, Push each side into place and fit the sealing ring.

Pack with grease and slide the completed assembly onto the spindle.

Tighten the wheel nut to seat the bearings and then back off a little, so that the wheel turns freely with no lateral movement.

The hub-cover is replaced by lightly tapping it into place after first packing the hub with grease.
