Erde 102 Trailer WHEELBE.REP Wheel Bearing Repair Kit

The Erde WHEELBE.REP is used on the Erde 102 and Erde 122 box trailers and the PM310 Motorbike trailer.

This wheel bearing kit comprises an inner bearing, an outer bearing, a hub-nut and hub cover.

The bearings are of the sealed ball type.

Before any new bearings are fitted ensure that the hub internal surfaces and the spindle are clean and free from dust and burrs.

It is usual to fit the bearings into the hub first, Push each side into place

Pack with grease and slide the completed assembly onto the spindle.

Tighten the wheel nut to seat the bearings and then back off a little, so that the wheel turns freely with no lateral movement.

The hub-cover is fitted by lightly tapping it into place after first packing the hub with grease.
